Dental Awareness and Dental Checkup Camp
Today, on Tuesday, 23 January 2024, Dental Awareness and Dental Checkup Camp was organized at Chaudhary Maniram Godara Government Girls College, Bhodia Khera. During this one-day camp, teeth of 25 girl students were examined. Apart from this, it was examined through dental loupes by new technology advanced laser telescope.
On this occasion, Dr. Karan Mehta and Dr. Kajal Bajaj, on behalf of Mehta Dental Clinic, jointly participated in the extension lecture and gave health related advice to the girl students. He said that the health of our mouth is as important as the health of our body. Not only this, dental diseases can also be related to heart disease, cancer and diabetes. In such a situation, it is important that we take care of our teeth.
Take special care of your health and also know about diseases related to teeth. He explained in detail about dental diseases. In this awareness camp, the problem of crooked teeth and their treatment was explained. He explained in detail about painless treatment of wisdom teeth, treatment of pyorrhoea, problem of bad breath and worm infestation in teeth.
College Principal Dr. Rajesh Mehta, while addressing the girl students, said that our teeth have a very important place in our lives. We should pay attention to these from time to time. They help us chew and digest food. Teeth help us talk and speak clearly and they also give our face its shape. Dental Awareness Camp was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Manju Bala, in-charge of Women’s Cell. All the committee members and college students were present on this occasion.
