Workshop on Art and Craft

Women Cell of Ch. Mani Ram Godara Government College for Women Bhodia Khera, Fatehabad is going to organize a Workshop in Art and Craft

A three-day workshop on Art and Craft was started under the aegis of Women’s Cell at CMG Government Women’s College, Bhodia Khera on Friday.  Inaugurating the workshop, the Principal of the college, Dr.  Rajesh Mehta said that girl students should participate prominently in this type of workshop to be held at the college level.  He said that by learning such nuances, girls can make themselves skilled.  

Talented person is never fascinated by anyone in life. Therefore, along with education, girls should try to be proficient in this type of education as well.  On the first day, lecturer Seema Sardana, Art and Craft, taught different types of candles, POP, Pot making and Lamp Decoration to different students.  This can enhance the decoration of the house.  He told the students that under Art and Craft you can present a sample of better artwork of anything. 

Art and Craft professor Rajaram taught the children to make different types of decorative figures.  He told the students that how we can decorate the house on Diwali by making different types of flowers and strings from paper cutting. On the last day of the 3-day Workshop on Art and Craft organized, Lecturer Lalita Rani told that the process of paper making begins by soaking the waste paper in water till it breaks down.  He told how we can give a new look to the old things lying at home.  The same principal Dr.  Professors and children presenting a figure made from waste material to Rajesh Kumar.  

In the Workshop on Art and Craft, different types of candles, POPs, pot making and lamp decoration were done from leftover and waste material on other days.  The students learned to make decorative figures.  On this occasion, Women’s Cell in-charge Manju Bala, Prof.  Saroj, Prof.  Gagandeep Kaur, Prof.  Raman and Prof.  Sarika was present
